flesh-toned mole on scalp
Dear Dr Ho,
I've a flesh-tone mole on scalp which is at the front of my head and the size of it is slightly bigger than a pencil eraser head, would it be possible to be removed by laser treatment (assuming it is benign) rather than shaving it or cutting it off and stitch it back? Since I don't want to leave scar on my scalp and i don't want the hair follicle to be killed and become bald on this spot (the mole is with hair), it would be quite obvious.

Hi,
It's difficult to tell you how and what to do the mole over scalp as I medic to assess it is benign or not, the size of the mole and what is the best treatment. But most of the time it will not damage the hair follicle.
